Timeline for http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/planes/q0283.shtml

This is a timeline for the list of airline bombings at http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/planes/q0283.shtml.  Each line represents one incident listed on that webpage.

EDIT: Here’s another timeline, with a kind of cumulative plot on top.  The graph starts at zero on the left.  Each incident creates a step, and each incident gets the same size step.  (I might make another version later, where each step is proportional to the number of deaths, thus proportional in some sense to the seriousness of the incident.)  The steepness of the graph indicates the intensity of the trend.  When the graph gets more steep, there are more incidents occurring.

There’s a strong trend from about the middle of the 1960s to the end of the 1980s.  It looks like the rate of bombings drops off quite a bit around 1990 and stays pretty constant from there.
